Appetizer Round Up

Appetizer Round Up

A couple of my favorite appetizers, just in time for game day!

Y’all I am having one of those weeks…as laughable as our “snowpocalypse” is to others that live in real cold weather, it is kicking my butt. It has been a major struggle to crawl out from under my blankets to get anything done. Then with the city shut down Joe was home an extra day this week…I am just not getting anything done! My planned post are not working out and most of the time spent at my desk is getting me nowhere.

I hope you guys will forgive me for not having anything new for you today but since the Super Bowl is coming I put together a round up of appetizers that I have previously tested and posted about from Pinterest. All of them are bite sized or served on a stick, which cuts down on messes. When you are serving a crowd of football fans that mob the food tables during commercials less messy is better, right?

Bacon Wrapped Smokies with Brown Sugar and Butter
These were a huge hit! I wrapped the smokies the day before and threw together the sauce and baked them the day of the party. They disappeared faster than I could get more on the table, we went through 3 pans in 2 hours!

Marinated Mozzarella (Caprese Bites)
An excellent way to serve veggies to a crowd. Marinating the mozzarella takes a little time but the end result is so worth it.

Appetizer Roll Ups
A little cream cheese, some shredded carrots and lunch meat turns out a nice inexpensive but filling appetizer that everyone will love.

These Taco Bites taste great and are so easy to make. Perfect for parties or game day, these are one of my new favorites.
Taco Bites
No mess nachos! Joe loved the taste and I loved the lack of mess.

What is your favorite appetizer to serve for a big group? Leave me a comment and tell me all about it, I’m always looking for more ideas.
